Wedding at Kavouri for Olympia & Alexandros

Exploring wedding photography in Athens each time in each wedding, gives me a feeling of freedom and evolution. Framing each combination is so important… An exercise in perception of wedding photography.

Here is the story of Olympia and Alexandros. I have met them one year before as a wedding photographer in Alexandro’s brother’s wedding in Polo club.  Many familiar guests make me feel more like a guest than their wedding photographer. This time the location is Agios Georgios at Kavouri, one of the most popular chapels in Athens.

By the time Olympia walked into the church  there were blue skies everywhere and a beam of sunset through the trees on the background that gave me a really cinematic style in my photos. The yard of Agios Georgios works perfect in each wedding all the day with this daylight or sunset light on the backround in combination with the green color tones from the surrounded garden. The yard was perfect backround for the photoshoot and the wedding day even when the natural light had almost gone. After the group photo, guests turned and went straight to dinner.

A really enjoyable location and dinner as well waiting us at the cave of Ble Azure. Unique location for the wedding party with great service and one of the most tasty caterings in Athens. I have to mention the great job of Martha Tsiani with the decoration and the wedding planning from the start to the end of the wedding. Everything was so relaxed and easy going…

I was still there until the first morning hours watching, enjoying, capturing each moment in thousands of photos and a dozen of memory cards… After all, memories comes next. Memories from one more wonderful wedding… Thank you Olympia and Alexandros wish you the best!!!
